As renewable energy scaled, ACCIONA faced a growing challenge: non-recyclable turbine blades are projected to generate 43,000,000 tonnes of waste globally by 2050.​​

ACCIONA developed a proprietary process to treat and recover material from decommissioned wind turbine blades, transforming it into particulate as well as other outputs that retain the blade’s inherent strength and flexibility.

We branded it and called it “Turbine Made”.
